Hey, I'm

Yael Schweiger

Parent coaching at eye level,
With a whole lot of heart.

I work with families raising autistic and ADHD kids, and with families who simply want their home to feel calmer and warmer.

Nice to meet you, I'm Yael. A mother of three, a nonstop learner, and the person friends kept sending other parents to, long before it was my profession.

I came to this work from the inside: through my own family.

Say hi on WhatsApp and we'll take it from there.

Kids grow up, sometimes faster than we manage to update our own toolbox :) We're left with plenty of tools, just ones that no longer fit: the age, the stage, the family we've become.

Sound familiar?

Maybe it looks something like this:

Mornings where you say "shoes" five times, then "SHOES", then feel bad about it for the rest of the morning.

Bedtimes that take more patience than anyone has left by that hour.

Or simply an atmosphere at home that's a long way from the one you pictured.

There's no way to be a perfect parent, and a million ways to be a good one.

Being a good parent isn't necessarily being the parent you thought you'd be. It's being the parent your child needs you to be.

That gap, between who we expected to be, who our kids need us to be, and what we think the world expects, is where so much of the struggle lives. It's also solvable. I'd be glad to hold your hand until you get there.

Who I work with

Families that have a diagnosis
(or contemplating the process)

Before, during, or after a child's diagnosis. When it's not clear where to even begin, how to learn everything you seem to need in order to support your child, how to hold on to your sanity, your relationship, and the joy in your home.

Families without a diagnosis

Not only families with diagnosis need guidance. Some with natural and expected events like a move, a new sibling or a new school, and some with day to day things at home: a friction that keeps coming back, needs that collide, between siblings, or between kids and parents. Or simply wanting more calm and connection at home.

Families in relocation

If you're raising your family far from where you grew up, I know that combination firsthand: parenting with no grandparents around the corner, no easy backup, in a language and culture that aren't yours.

I've spent more than a decade in Berlin finding my way through Kitas, schools, SPZ, therapist teams, and the waiting lists in between. If any of those words made you sigh quietly - know that I can support you in this journey.

How it works

We meet on Zoom. The work is practical and focused: one thing at a time, matching to your actual daily life and your family, not to a method from a book.

We usually work together for a few months, in Hebrew or English. Not forever, and that's on purpose: my goal is to make myself unnecessary, so you're left with tools that keep working long after we're done, and the knowledge how to fix things when they arise in the future.

Drop me a line, tell me what's on your mind and i'll get back to you for a quick call free of charge, to hear more and see if we might be a good match.

One by one, we'll map what's going on, what you'd like to have in your home, and we'll start one thing at a time. Without overwhelming you. One small shift that gives everyone a bit of air, and we build from there.

Let's talk

WhatsApp is easiest, email works too: hello@meetyael.com
I usually reply within a day or two.

No question is too small.
