About me

I work with parents who want family life to feel like theirs: not measured against someone else's standard, but built on connection, presence, and compassion, for the kids and for themselves.

Some families come to me around a diagnosis, or a feeling that something feels messy and they don't know where to start. Some have a specific challenge in mind. All the families I work with get the same from me: a space to organise their thoughts, a warm presence, and clear next steps that fit their real life.

WHY I DO THIS

I came to this work from the inside. I'm no stranger to neurodivergence: between other adult friends and my three kids, one of them which also has complex needs. After his diagnosis I stepped away from a career I loved to be there for everything our family needed (a roller coaster in itself, I admit), and I discovered my strengths hadn't gone anywhere. They'd simply found a new direction. Today we live a full, balanced life, and I know exactly how far from obvious that is.

For years, long before it was my profession, people somehow found their way to me. First colleagues and friends working out their next career step. Then, as we all became parents, the conversations changed: a specific struggle with a kid, the strain parenting puts on a couple, even how to rearrange a room so it works better for the family living in it. And in recent years, also more and more parents that were at a crossroads around a child's diagnosis: before it, during it, in the daily life that follows it.

What people told me afterwards was always some version of the same thing: now I can see it clearly, and I know what to do first. That always made me very happy.

Looking back at all of it, the work, the families, everything in between, one thread runs through it all: helping people find what they need inside themselves, and help them make it real in their lives.

What I bring

Eight years as a product manager in Berlin's tech scene taught me to listen, to prioritize, and to make complex things doable. And I know the day-to-day of a family with complex needs up close: SPZ appointments, finding the right Kita (and then the next right Kita), school, and keeping all therapies all pulling in towards joint goals. And beyond all of that - balancing daily life, because ultimately we all live in the same house when that weekly therapy hour is over.

Principles

Better done than perfect.

Sometimes you simply have to start to see what works.

I'm not married to any one method.

I love theory, but the right way for your family lives in the small details of your actual days.

My goal is to make myself unnecessary.

I'm here to help you find the direction and to hold your hand for as long as you need, until you can do it without me. And believe me: that's entirely possible.
